Raw materials from textile waste

Oakdene Hollins assesses the market for chemicals from textile waste.

RESYNTEX is a research project which aims to create a new circular economy concept for the textile and chemical industries, by producing secondary raw materials from unwearable textile waste.

Dr Nia Bell and Dr Kate Riley from Oakdene Hollins are in Brussels helping the RESYNTEX project identify textile waste streams which are potential feedstocks for the industrial process being developed.

For more information, contact Kate Riley or visit the RESYNTEX project website.
